I am forging ahead with this book and am now on Chapter 7.
Here is a little bit I have just written.
The
crowd had hushed when Eli appeared and feeling the mounting tension and
astonishment, Eden had allowed her gaze to follow the direction in which
everyone was looking.
If
she lived to be a hundred and ten, she would never forget any single moment of what
happened next. Eli had been hustled in to stand, bound and strung up like a
turkey, in front of everyone assembled there.
And in that moment,
in that precise nanosecond of time, Eden’s life became firmly divided into
past, present and future.
